Persimmon is a Fruit bearing tree in the US.  I obtained this wood in North Carolina at a backyard mill near on a day trip with my father.  This board has matched end grain to create symetry.  This small board is perfect for a bar when cutting lime or other items for drinks.  It is also used for small jobs in the kitchen.  Food safe, Finished with Shaping Grain Board Sauce.
