

Shaping for the Family
I have not made much for the business lately as my wife and I decided 20 year old Melamine office furniture was not cool in the house of a woodworker. The adventure began in October of 2016 when we caught a great 30% off sale at Highland Hardwoods celebrating their 30th anniversary. We bought lots of cherry and curly cherry. Employee Holiday Gifts for Day Job
This annual activity is what led me to start my own business. I began with trivets and small cutting boards. 2016 brings bottle openers. I use my long time off at the end of the year to make them. This year I had my father's help and came up with some new designs using my scraps from larger projects.


New Bottle Opener Design
While woodworking with my dad over the holidays we made a bunch of bottle openers for new year gifts. This was a great way to experiment with using small pieces I have from prior projects. I decided to take a nice piece of persimmon and cut at an angle and place a piece of blood wood through it. What do you think?
